The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned.
God saves those who faithfully seek Him.
When we go to Him for safety, that’s what we will find. Not guilt. Not shame. Only care and protection.
The past cannot be changed, it’s in the past. But that does not mean it has the power to take over the present. In Christ, we can eliminate self-imposed suffering. We don’t have to keep beating ourselves up! Find the freedom that Jesus died to give us.
The church, like God, should be a place where we can be honest about who we are. It should be a safe place where we can bring our brokenness, not a place of performing and pretending. In the church, people should feel like they are in God’s presence with God’s family, not looked down upon. We should leave with a renewed purpose and an inspired passion as we encourage one another in the faith.
God promises not to condemn those who seek refuge in Him. We, as the church body, must follow suit.
• Where do you currently feel that you need to be redeemed? How have you submitted this before the Father?
• What can you do to help people feel loved, welcomed, and accepted at our church?
• Thank God for His extravagant love for you that drives out all condemnation.
