Our History

121 Community Church was started in the fall of 1999 when a group of 23 people met for the first time after much prayer and conversation. They firmly believed that this was God’s idea, and boldly acted upon that belief. The first worship service took place in one of the families’ homes in Colleyville that September. Seven months later, the group moved into a leased facility on William D. Tate in Grapevine, and then in 2006, to our current facility on Mustang Drive.

For years now, God has been about changing the lives of the people attending 121. We are purposeful about reaching out to those who do not know Christ, who have been disconnected from church for years, or who have been stagnant in their faith. Just as important, we are a community where people who know God will continue to grow deeper in their relationship with Him.

121 Community Church has been, and will continue to be, a church with Christ at the center, under the authority of His Word. It is a home where people’s lives have been transformed; allowing them to tackle personal challenges and understanding their significance within His plan. And we are a church where children, students, and adults are daily seeking God in His Word, authentically investing in one another in community through LifeGroups, worshiping with freedom, serving others, and communicating the story of Christ locally, nationally, and globally.

It is with great anticipation and excitement that we look towards the future, and see how God intends to work in and through us as we continue seeking to lead people to live for Jesus Christ.

To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
