About This Trip

Participants on this trip will be working on one or two projects in the northeastern part of Houston. One is a large neighborhood in the Fifth Ward that was hit very hard and the residents have very few resources or connections. A young church plant has taken the lead in coordinating the relief effort, and 121 has committed to helping with the house that is their “home base” of ministry in the area, and coming alongside with the homes they are helping to rebuild.

The other project is repairing the inside of a Cambodian church building that was flooded. This congregation is meeting in a tent outside the building, and they have done lots of work but need help rebuilding and replacing all the furniture and items that were lost.
