About This Trip

This trip is coordinated through the First Baptist Church of Orange. The team will minister to families whose homes were damaged during Hurricane Harvey by, among other things, installing sheetrock in the rebuild and recovery stage for homes that are ready

This team has opportunities for both men and women. The current plan is to leave the DFW area on the afternoon of Thursday, November 2, work on Friday (11/3) and Saturday morning/afternoon (11/4), returning to the DFW area on Saturday night. 

About Orange, TX

Orange is the easternmost city in Texas. Located on the Sabine River at the border with Louisiana, Orange is 113 miles from Houston and is a deep-water port to the Gulf of Mexico.

Accommodations & Meals
The team will stay in a local, host church in Orange, TX. Volunteers will need to bring their own cot or air mattress. Information about available meals is TBD. 

Trip Cost
The anticipated cost of this trip is the shared price of gas and possibly meals. 

Age Requirements
Ages 18 and up can participate.
