121 Community Church strongly supports the concept of premarital counseling. For this reason, anyone desiring a pastor from 121 Community Church to officiate their wedding is required to begin premarital counseling at least six months prior to their intended wedding date. Any exception to this policy must be cleared through the 121 pastor officiating your wedding.
The cost for premarital counseling is $280, which
covers all sessions and assessments. As a gift to those regularly
attending 121 Community Church, the church will subsidize $150 of this
fee, leaving each couple responsible for $130. Payment is due in full
at your first appointment.
1. Each person will need to download and complete a New Client Package.
2. Print one copy of the Premarital Documents Package to sign as a couple.
3. Fill out the Family History Analysis-one for the bride and one for the groom. Do this independently without consulting one another. After completion, please mail it to me or drop it off at the church office at least one week prior to your first session.
4. Once you have completed step three, email or call 817.247.0081 to schedule your first session.
5. Come to Session One prepared to discuss the Premarital Counseling Covenant (please bring it with you) and to pay for your portion of the premarital counseling fee ($250; or $100 for those regularly attending 121 Community Church) and for your PREPARE premarital assessment ($30). You may write one check for both fees, payable to 121 Community Church.
