I was raised in a loving Christian home in Colleyville, TX where my family attended the same church nearly every Sunday for 15 years. When I was in high school, my parents and a few other families started a church plant where I was one of two teenagers in the group. I was miserable, and began spiritually drifting away from God. I began drinking and using drugs in high school. Over the course of the next 8 years, I became a high functioning meth addict and used until I found out I was pregnant in December 2011.
Drug free life was good! I graduated college shortly after having my first daughter, and later married her father shortly thereafter. I accepted an amazing job at The Container Store in 2013, where I was responsible for social media marketing. Our small family welcomed our second daughter in July of 2015. Unfortunately, our marriage fell apart in 2016. I was wrecked, and went into survival mode for the next two years.
In October 2018, I decided to try 121 Community Church. Almost immediately I was filled with hope, life and strength again. Plus, I was developing a relationship with Jesus. In December of 2018, 7 years after quitting drugs, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior.
I’ve been on staff since July 2019, and I absolutely love it! My hobbies include spending time with my daughters, working out, reading, and going to concerts.
