Facilities Assistant

I’m very blessed to be on staff here at 121, where I am able to be surrounded by great people all week. I never thought I would work for a church, but God opened this door in my life and made it clear that He wants me here.

My wife and I have been attending 121 since around 2008, and our 10-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter have been attending their entire life. I wasn’t raised in the church or in a Christian family – I began following Jesus after I got married. Due to God’s mercy and kindness, He rescued me from the world and opened my eyes to His love.

There is a special place in my heart for Alas de Dios, a school in Jinotega, Nicaragua, that was started by some faithful men in my LifeGroup. The school exists not only to educate and provide basic needs to children whose families survive by scavenging through a trash dump for valuables, but also to share the Gospel to the poorest of the poor. I love supporting and visiting the school as often as I can.

I am forever grateful what God has done and continues to do in my life.
