About 45th Street

Leading Kids to Live for Jesus Christ

45th Street for 4th and 5th graders

45th STREET is a worship service for 4th and 5th Grade students where we take it to the next level. During this time, kids participate in worship through singing, drama, and creative Bible storytelling which encourages them to rely on God to make wise choices, treat others the way they want to be treated, and understand that they can trust God no matter what. Our goal is to engage their interest in this phase of life so that they can learn to trust God’s character and experience community in a safe place.

45th Street LifeGroups

45th STREET LifeGroups are a focused time for kids to learn biblical truths and biblical principles taught by qualified volunteers who are committed to the spiritual development of each child. We use a virtue-based curriculum called “252Basics” which is based on Luke 2:52 (…and Jesus grew in wisdom, stature and favor with God and men). This is our goal for the kids at 45th STREET. We study a new virtue every month along with a supporting memory verse from the Bible.

  1. I need to make the WISE CHOICE.
  2. I can TRUST GOD no matter what.
  3. I should TREAT OTHERS the way I want to be TREATED.

Kids in this phase of life place a high value on friendships and we want to encourage healthy friendships through LifeGroups. LifeGroups are divided according to grade level and gender in to foster community among peers. They meet in The Upper East Side on Sundays at 9:15am and 11:00am.
