Summary: Mark 11:11-26
When Jesus was on earth, He not only made a way for us to be with God, but He showed us what it looks like to relate with God. In this passage, Jesus reminded the disciples of the way they were to live set apart by displaying righteous anger over the corruption of the temple. He showed the disciples true faith in asking of and believing in the Father. He reminded them to forgive just as they valued forgiveness from God.
What Does This Say about God?
God has become our example through Jesus. He is after our hearts. We can believe God and the promises He has given us to bring the fruit of true heart change. He is ready to draw near to us, forgive us, and answer our prayers when we come to Him.
