Summary: 1 Samuel 15:7-19
Samuel was hurt when he recognized that Saul, the leader God had chosen, turned away from God and went his own way. It was confusing and difficult to see what was next, but God guided Samuel and showed him what God desires in a leader: a heart devoted to Him.
What Does This Say About God?
When people disappoint us, God grieves with us, but He is never surprised or shaken by the actions of people. God is ready to be there for us through difficult times and show us the path forward as we look to Him. He will equip and grow us as we live devoted to Him.
