Summary: James 1:27
When we consider the Christian life, we may think about rules we need to follow or values we need to hold, but in our passage today, we are reminded that following Jesus is more than a list of intellectual beliefs and will be evidenced by a life of serving others.

What does this say about God?
God has called His people to serve and care for those who are often overlooked. No one has ever lived as a greater servant than Jesus.
