Summary: Matthew 5:14-16; Ephesians 5:1-2; 6-14

This week we celebrate a really fun holiday! We will get to spend time with each other, exchange gifts, and eat great food! When we look at our Scripture, we are reminded about the reason we celebrate. Jesus was not just a baby that was born, He was the Light of the World that has given us hope, peace, joy, and love.

What does this say about God?

God is still working through Jesus. Jesus is alive and working in our lives. He is the light that has exposed our sin and shown us a new way forward in life. God has shown us what His love looks like by giving us Jesus, God as a person, like you and me, to love us in the way we needed to be loved and show us how to love others.
