“God be gracious to us and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us—Selah. That Your way may be known on the earth, Your salvation among all nations. Let the peoples praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise You.” – Psalm 67:1-3
God’s heart is for the nations, and He desires that all people come to know Him and experience His salvation. As followers of Christ, we are called to share in this mission, loving what God loves and seeking to make His name known among all people. This means being outward-focused, looking beyond our own needs and desires to see the bigger picture of God’s redemptive plan for the world.
To love what God loves, we can start by praying for the nations and asking God to give us a heart for those who do not yet know Him. We can also look for opportunities to share the gospel in our own communities and support global missions through prayer, giving, and going. As we align our hearts with God’s heart for the nations, we will find that our lives are enriched and our faith is strengthened.
