As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the multifaceted grace of God.
What are some of the gifts or talents you have? How often do you use those gifts? What do you use them for? When we think about our talents, we often view them as a part of who we are, something unique about us. When we have this mindset, it is easy to only use these gifts for ourselves. But when we remember it is God who gives us the gifts, we start to think about how to use them for His glory. This is why Peter is specific in his call for believers to use their gifts to serve one another as good stewards. This language of stewardship is a reminder that we have not earned our gifts; they are given by God for a purpose.
God has equipped you to minister to neighbors, friends, church members, family members, and strangers in a unique way. You may not be good with words, but maybe you know how to cook and can make meals for people who are struggling or simply as a sign of care. You may have a fervent and active prayer life that leads you to offer prayer for people and check in with them regularly. How beautiful is it that God is ready to use you as a part of His kingdom building work. We can look to Him as the giver of our gifts and ask Him to help us see those around us the way He does, using our gifts to serve as good stewards of His wonderful grace.
