Date: Friday, March 25th – Saturday, March 26th, 2022
What does it mean to wonder about God and His character, His purposes, His creation, His power on Earth? How does he reveal His love, His presence, His salvation? How can we wonder about God and who He is? What does it mean to WONDER about God, instead of wander from God?
The theme for our women’s retreat is WONDER. It is based on Psalm 136:4 – “to Him who alone does great wonders, for His steadfast love endures forever.”
We will meet at The Ranch of Lonesome Dove in Grapevine, and while we will not be staying the night, we will be able to retreat.

What a joy and honor it is to spend the weekend with you all at the women’s retreat!! My heart for the weekend is that we would together experience the wonders of God. That we would marvel at who God is and be moved to worship Him. May we have a hunger and thirst for the Lord as we dive into His Word together.
My journey with the Lord began at a young age when my parents introduced me to a loving God and Good Father. At the age of 16 at a church camp, I encountered God personally, felt overwhelmed by God’s goodness and grace, and was moved to give my life to the Lord. I wept and laughed and still to this day get teary-eyed as I think about the Lord’s kindness in reaching out to me in such intimate ways.
My walk with the Lord has been a series of drifting away from God, getting distracted by the things of the world and my own selfish desires, and the Lord gently and lovingly drawing me back to Himself. I have learned the truth of Psalm 16:8-9. “Set the Lord always before me, because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore, my heart is glad, and my tongue rejoices; and my body also will rest secure.” This is my prayer for the women of our church. May we know the Lord so intimately that we feel his very presence next to us. May we be so full of God’s love that we cannot help but have a gladness of heart, tongues that rejoice, and a rest that can come only from the Lord.
I am married to my husband and best friend, Bobby who follows God’s calling in his life as a football and track coach and history teacher. When I’m not working, you can find me chasing our three very active and sometimes a little crazy children whom I also adore.
