This camp is for our completed 3rd grade through completed 5th grade kids (as of summer 2026)!
We will meet at the church the morning of Thursday, May 28th and leave for Lakeview Retreat Center in Waxahachie, Tx. All children along with leaders will ride charter buses to and from camp. We will return on Sunday, May 31st during church service. **Please plan to welcome home and pickup your child immediately upon our arrival on Sunday.**
This year’s theme is “Word and Wonder” and is centered on discovering God’s truth in every story.
Life is full of choices, and God’s word is our guide, showing us how to walk with Jesus. At Student Life Kids Camp 2026, we are looking to Jesus’ parables to show us how to live with Him. Jesus teaches us to build our lives on a firm foundation, receive His forgiveness, and love others well. AT LAKEVIEW:
We will enjoy worship with Student Life Kids band and be led by camp pastor, Josh Hunter. 121 leaders will lead our kids in small group time, we will worship together as a church group, and participate in fun activities! EAT:
A variety of food choices are served buffet-style at every meal, including entrees, side dishes, a salad bar, dessert bar, and beverage stations. Special dietary requests can be accommodated.
SLEEP:
We will have kids and leaders staying in lodge-style cabins (separated by gender) with bunk beds and communal bathrooms.
We will send out more details such as arrival and pickup times, parent meeting, packing list, and more prior to the event.
