Summary: Exodus 18:5-26
When Moses’s father-in-law Jethro visited, Moses shared all God had been doing for the people of Israel. Later, Jethro noticed that Moses was taking on too much work as a judge and needed help. Moses listened to his father-in-law and made a new system to receive help from others.
What Does This Say About God?
God has created us as those that need help from Him and others. He does not expect us to get everything done on our own or power through when carrying too much. He wants us to go to Him for help and receive to the help He offers us through others.
