Summary: Philippians 2:1-11

In this passage, Paul encouraged the Philippian church to live differently because of Jesus. This new way of life was one of humility, of service and looking out for others. This is the example that has been set for us through Jesus. Even though living this way is not easy, it will be worth it in the end.

What Does This Say about God?

Humility is valuable to God. He wants His followers to be servant-hearted and humble. God doesn’t expect us to do it on our own but has given us the example of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit to follow this call.
