Summary: James 4:13-17

James gave the reminder that life is short because it points us to the One who lasts forever—it reminds us who is really in control. We have little actual control over our lives but when we come to God and seek Him with our plans and ideas, He guides us and shows us how to live with eternal purpose.

What does this say about God?

God is eternal and unchanging. He cares how we spend our time because we were designed in His image, created to reflect Him and the things He values.
