GriefShare: A Path Toward Healing After a Loss
Losing someone you love is devastating. The pain can be confusing, isolating, and exhausting. That’s why the GriefShare Class exists—to provide a clear path toward healing after a loss.
What Is the GriefShare Class?
GriefShare is a 12-week Bible-based class for anyone grieving the death of a close friend or family member. Each week includes expert video teaching, group discussion, and a personal workbook. Together, these elements offer biblical wisdom, practical tools, and emotional support in a safe, structured setting.
The videos feature stories from people who have walked through grief themselves. You’ll also hear insights from pastors and counselors who understand what you’re going through. As a result, you’ll gain both hope and direction for your journey.
Who Should Attend?
This class is designed specifically for people facing grief after the death of a loved one. Whether your loss is recent or happened years ago, the GriefShare Class can help you process your pain and begin to heal.
Note: We understand there are other losses in life that create feelings of grief. You might be experiencing a job loss, a divorce, estrangement from a child, or the loss of friends because of a move. This grief is real, but it is not the kind of grief discussed in GriefShare sessions. We encourage you to ask a pastor, counselor, or church leader for help in finding resources that will be of specific help in your situation. Contact Jessica Howard if you have any questions.
What to Expect Each Week
You’re never pressured to share. However, you’ll find encouragement, space to reflect, and a supportive environment every time you attend. The workbook provides helpful prompts to guide your healing throughout the week.
