Middle School Discipleship Retreat | Grow in Faith Together

The Middle School Discipleship Retreat is a one-day event designed to help students grow in faith together. This is more than just a getaway—it’s a chance to deepen faith and experience true discipleship in a fun, supportive environment.

What Is It?

This event is designed for 6th–8th grade students. During the retreat, we’ll dive into the book of 1 John and explore practical discipleship. Students will engage through teaching, small groups, solitude time, and fun activities.

They’ll also take a break from distractions. As they reflect on Scripture and listen for God’s voice, they’ll build stronger faith and friendships. Meanwhile, our leaders will guide conversations that connect truth to real life.

Who Should Come?

Any middle schooler who wants to grow in their relationship with Jesus should attend. Whether they’re new to church or have walked with Jesus for years, this retreat gives them a next step.

In addition, parents can check out our Student Ministry page to explore upcoming student events and resources.

What to Expect

Expect a mix of large group teaching, guided reflection, small group discussion, and hands-on fun. Each part of the day builds toward deeper understanding and real connection with God.

Throughout the retreat, students will be challenged to live as disciples in their everyday world. Even more, they’ll walk away encouraged, equipped, and supported.

This is NOT an overnight event. We will be carpooling and utilizing vans and other leaders to drive to the location and back.
