SUMMARY: Luke 15:1-10
We often spend our holidays with loved ones and others we value. This may include highly anticipated reunions with those we haven’t seen in some time. While on earth, Jesus also had people He spent time with and was excited to see, but it was an unexpected group. He spent time with the those who had bad reputations and had done bad things. Many of the religious people judged Him for this, but He explained why He did so with stories about looking for lost items and rejoicing when they were found. Jesus came to help the needy—and this includes us.
WHAT DOES THIS SAY ABOUT GOD?
God draws near to those who are hurting and heals what has been wounded. He rejoices when we come to Him in our brokenness, and He is ready to restore.
