Summary: Mark 16:1-13

In the early hours of the morning, what was thought to be the final step of closure of Jesus’s death was an exciting new beginning as the angel announced, “He is not here! He is risen!” From the moment His followers saw the empty tomb, the witnesses were encouraged to go and tell others about this life-changing news! The same is true for us today.

What does this say about God?

God is victorious over death! In His resurrection, Jesus conquered the sin and death that keep us separate from God. God has made us His children and given us His Spirit for daily living.
