Summary: Mark 15:1-21

In this passage, Jesus was put on trial unfairly. He had not done anything wrong, but the point was to please the crowd. The people that had welcomed Him in worship now insisted on His death. Jesus was abused, mocked, and sent to die. A man named Simon took up the cross and followed Jesus even though it required sacrifice for Him.

What Does This Say about God?

Who God is does not change based on public opinion. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Jesus did not use His position to control others or make a point but humbly laid His rights down so that we can live.
