Summary: Genesis 39–41
As we move through life, things will not always turn out how we picture them. When Joseph was young, God gave him a dream that he would be a great leader. But as Joseph grew older, his life turned upside down; he was sold into slavery and went to prison for many years. This didn’t exactly seem like the leadership pathway, but Joseph walked with God, who brought all those pieces together, making Joseph not only a leader in Egypt but also a provider for God’s people.
What Does This Say about God?
Some things in life hurt so much that they feel like a mistake. God does not call bad good, but He remains with us through the broken parts of life and makes all things beautiful in His timing.
